| Remember that you will leave our website by clicking on these links. Although we believe these sites to be okay, we are not responsible for the content and would advise parents to always supervise their children's Internet use. There are a number of organisations who can advise you on Internet safety for your child at home, and we've included three important ones here. Children are growing up with the Internet as a normal part of everyday life and are using it at home, at school and with their friends. It has become a vital tool in communication, sharing information, research, learning, teaching, and even shopping and banking. Almost all schools have a high speed Internet connection because it is critical to children's development in today's (and tomorrow's) world. Most children's experience of the web will be safe and happy - but there are dangers; nothing is safe 100% of the time. That's why it is increasingly important for parents to talk to children about their Internet use and to pass on vital safety advice.
